DCS doesn't look at his PMs very often, does he?

This is a little guest strip I drew on a lark about 2 weeks ago, while DCS was running sketches. I sent it to him in a PM, but obviously he doesn't check them very much-I should have e-mailed it to him. Oh well...it's kinda late now. 8) So whaddya think?

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

Heck, fire it off in an email to him. Perhaps DCS will have need of guest strips again some time.

It's a good strip too, I like it. :D

No, not really. I sent him a bunch of PM's a year ago and I waited a couple of weeks before I deleted them in my outbox. I've sent him a couple of emails a couple of years ago to two different email addresses, but he has yet to respond. But I am not bitter, though, things like that happens.

Nice Strip, Cameron!

Bill Holbrook said there's been exactly one time that one of his "good" characters expressed liking for music that Bill disliked. That music was Stravinsky, and the liking was necessary for a joke.

I like the change of pace in this O&M rendition. Millie with a longer muzzle and neck and stippled overalls, whee! That said, I notice that Ozy's panel 2 face is in profile, yet his ears don't align.

See, I just figured that if there ever comes another time that seems ripe for a guest strip, I'll just draw a new one--and get Ozy's ears halfway right that time. :)

Nice one Cameron! You should try e-mailing it to DCS. Even if he doesn't want to use it as a guest strip, I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it. It seems to me like most web cartoonists post guest strips from people they know most of the time. So that may hinder you.

I sent an email a while ago about the new HouseRules URL, and nothing happened...

Maybe he doesn't read those either. :/

Great work indeed! That belongs on a guest page at the very least, but it would be good to see as part of the main comic sequence!

Nice mood shading! I love how it abruptly turns bright when DCS appears.
Sincerely,

He doesn't respond to anything anymore, it seems. I've even left notes in his LJ alerting him to an email I sent about the VG project and a guest strip I wanted to do for "I Drew This." He replied to the comment that he needs to "get on it" and then nothing.

Either that or he stopped looking like me.

Then again, DCS probably actually gets people writing to him more than once every 3 months :wag:

I really like this strip you have here, but it should be noted that DCS's hair is much longer now.
