Yep! That's right! Ozy and Millie with a fur pattern switch..! This is one of my first colorings of Ozy and Milie linework. What do you guys think of the color job?

I think it's very nice!
Now that I think of it, each of their colors sort of reflects their personalities. A color switch would make an interesting storyline/dream...

Ozy looks a little weird, but it's cool.

Nah, I didn't draw that, I colored it. It was originally a black and white I colored.

Millie with brown hair and stuff like that reminds me of Peppermint Patty.

Ozy's (Millie's real) fur colour is a bit off, and I can't help thinking 'What the-...' for a few moments when I look at it. But I guess that's the idea, and it looks very good nonetheless. I guess probably the hardest job was making Millie's feet white, wasn't it?

Except they aren't.
And Now that I look again, Millie looks like she could be a younger sister to the original Ozy.

Well, if I ever need to colour something that's already black (like Felicia's ribbon), I make a new layer to make it white, and then colour it using the existing colouring layer.

Hit it dead on the nail. That's how I did it pretty much. Layering and alpha channels. It's how I've been coloring everything lately. taking the sketch, making a duplicated layer, the second layer gets converted to an alpha channel and colored white to alpha, then I bo back the the first layer and color in. Best method in the book by most standards.

Looks the same age to me. But for some reason, in this coloring, she reminds me of Ozy more than vice versa. This is especially strange when you consider that her hair color came from nowhere. (I haven't decided if it's the best match for gray and white fur.)
At any rate, this recutifies them both, so I want to snorgle them again.

I chose this color for Millie's hair because it made the best sense to me. It couldn't be her usual blazing red ontop of a flat gray. That just wouldn't look right. I checked it out myself and it looked like she almost had to dye it. I went with a deep, grayed out red because biologically speaking, if her hair pigments are affected slightly by her fur pigments, she'd turn out with a grayish saturation in the hair.

Hmm if I were you I'd color Millie's hair with the same gray as her fur or a very slightly darker color. I'd then go to Ozy's head with that little tuft of hair poking out under his hat and color that Millie-hair-red.
