I've always wanted to do this, but never had the juevos to do so. I'm not much of an artist. Please note that I don't own a scanner, so I had to use a digital camera.

Nice sketch ^-^ Nice shirt choice. I like the attempt at scruffiness too. A person's destinctive facial hair basically disapears (or gets more widespread, lol) when designing themselves as an anthro. I mean, look at my avatar, you'll notive he's not rocking a goatie.

I can't say you've inspired me to draw my own like other people have, mostly because I already have drawn my own. I haven't tried to draw hi in traditional anthro form like my good friend did for me. She based that one off my other design of the character that features a "Sonic The Hedgehog" inspired style. See: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/31504024/

Dude Tabris that one is awesome. and I love to nuse the sonic art style for computer pixel art. I can't draw what I would "actually look like if I was anthrosized, but My current av is a close version made in sonic style.

The trouble with using Sonic style is that most fans' characters look too much like the official Sega ones. Tabris's effort, however, looks sufficiently different. And nice.

I agree there, if you went to any relatively active Sonic Forum, you'd probably find at least 50% of the avitars there modified from official Sega art [like what you'd see in Niko's avitar, but apply the same idea to all of Sega's sonic-related characters].

Yes, But I can also make these characters much eaisier with Sonic Style, than I could on regualr paper. Exaple: Renae and Julie
