So Shines the Crescent Light

Crescent twilight Shines the sky
The eastern skies begin to fade
One life ends as another begins
A howl encloses the night.
The soft glow of the setting sphere
Bring a silent music
Upon the listening ear
Time goes on as darkness envelopes
So shines the crescent twilight.
Flight of day
Essence of night
A mourning youth feels sorrow
The final shade falls
Till the awakening of tomorrow.
Glimmering spots
Spread carelessly over
The hopes of the dispaired ignite
And become the blemishes on the darkness
And another great sphere
One of many faces
Comes forth this night as a smile
One that peers into the blackness
And cuts the sorrow.
So shines the crescent night.
The cold winds blast
Shattered lives past
Eastern skies light
The sleeping horizon raises it's eye
The great sphere sets hope ablaze.
The second sphere
For holding the dark
Has not to fear
The angels speak; "Hark"
So shines the crescant dawn.
The eastern skies begin to fade
One life ends as another begins
A howl encloses the night.
The soft glow of the setting sphere
Bring a silent music
Upon the listening ear
Time goes on as darkness envelopes
So shines the crescent twilight.
