Same form factor but with better graphics and a more versatile basic language for on-the-fly programming. Oh, yeah, and a system clock. Of course, even the '86 and '89 are rather old. The latest TI-89 Titanium boasts a lot more features.

Looks nice anyways
I've been working on some ambigrams, mainly for the strip's characters.

For those who don't know, an ambigram is an image (usually a word or phrase) that appears identical if it is rotated 180 degrees. Look at John Langdon's site for more on ambigrams.

Anyways, here's what I have so far:

I'm going to try to clean them up and make them a bit more clear and artistic...too linear right now.

ambigram remind me of the

dragon

<SteveThePocket> Geez. I want more of this stuff now. Now I know how a horny guy on an imageboard feels.

Yes, quite. I first found out about ambigrams when I read Angels and Demons. I was originally going to use the Illuminati ambigram for my "Dragon Illuminati" wallpaper, but I didn't want to run the risk of violating copyrights of Dan Brown and/or John Langdon.

The trick is to only draw half of the ambigram so that it can be rotated for the other half. I generally start out writing the word normally, then morph the letters on one side to match the other.

But I don't even want to think of how I'm going to turn "Llewellyn" into an ambigram. All I can see is matching the "Ll" with the "n". So I basically need to turn "ewe" into "lly".

I like the drawings, I like the ambigrams.
Made by Angela.

Another ambigram, in two styles. This time, I decided to go with a theme central to O&M.

So, I present, the Zen Square:

Click here for the "colored" version
