I found this past evening that I was watching the Grey Cup on television, which was a particularly interesting football (the non-soccer variety) game, and I rather enjoyed it.

However, I realized, after a few moments, that it didn't quite feel right. I mean, there are other sports that I would much prefer watching, so why should I be enjoying football, when there is a perfectly good hockey game on...?

And then it hit me:

Yeah, it's a shame that Hockey had to go on strike like it did. It gave me something to follow when the Red Sox aren't playing. (Not a big football fan, I've yet to watch more than 30 seconds of football since the Super Bowl)

Yay! He-Who-Draws-Even-Better-Than-Foxchild is back!

Rikirk, you have a good shot at getting Yerf'd. Just as long as you can learn to shade your characters (given the picture you claim to use as reference, I'd say you shouldn't have a problem with that); they will not let you in otherwise. Trust me.

...Still, they rejected this guy's application, and he can color as well as (avert your eyes if you hoped you wouldn't have to hear this name anymore) Jeremy Bernal (warned ya), so I dunno if anyone here has much of a chance.

Yerfed..?

Thats a funny term...

Anyways, just let me say thank you to all you well wishers. You really brighten my day when i read the posts....so again, thank you.

And another anyway...I just draw for fun, i do it when Im bored, or if im away from my computer or PC games for any length of time, like im doing now for the holidays. I dont claim to be a great artist, I make too many lazy and stupid mistakes, I also procrastinate a lot, maybe even too much. I usually sit down at my computer for a few hours and go thru the Ozy and Millie comics and get the urge to try doing it from my point of view. I use my own characters(the whale and penguin) or i copy other characters to see how they are constructed, or just 'cuz i like them so much.

Eh..I guess im just a fanboy.

But whatever happens...happens.

Im still learning, however long it may take.

Ill probobly die with a pencil and scetchbook in my hand drawing goofy characters, or these two that im still trying to find a place for.
