It's not so much self deprecating. Not to many people actually like my working progress style. They actually say that the old one was better. I dunno, I like my new style.

It's like minorities making minority jokes; it's providing a subtle social commentary, but also white people are just hard-wired through our horrible social structure to laugh when people make fun of jews, black people, et cetera.
