japp! you can study Psychology with no other studies required. But to get a Psychiatrist, you first need a full medicine graduation, then a kind Psychology study.
Both are allowed to therapy people. But only(!) the Psychatrist is allowed to give drugs or other psychofarmaca to the patient.

There was actually a social experiment like that. It's called The Stanley Milgram: Obedience Test

The experiment consisted of a participant being tricked into giveing an actor dosages of electricity. In the experiment an "official" told the participant to give the patient/actor a shock every time he got a question wrong and increase the voltage level everytime. The experiment was to test how far a human is willing to follow orders even though it is against their morality. Really messed up stuff.

Because in my experiment, you are actually asking someone to take drugs, without telling them that they are powerful and harmful.
In the Milgram experiment, you are asking someone to shock someone, potentially to death, without telling them that the person is not actually harmed and that the shocks are fake.

It's kind of the opposite of my experiment.

Your experiment seems to aim to prove that people trust psychiatrists, and tend not to perform chemical analysis themselves before deciding a drug is okay?

I can pretty much accept that already. Nonetheless, a study involving random administration of powerful hallucinogens can only be good.

The person in your experiment is stupid because why would you accept drugs directly from a pychiatrist when you are supposed to get it from the pharmacey?
