Wow, that's brilliant. Don't worry about the colours, that's way better than anything I, and a lot of others, could do. The clouds especially, though they look a bit too flat at the bottom.

Was this just a random encouragement, or a shout out to me?

Shout out. I figured that you would be able to guess the what this pic was inspired by even if nobody else could.

I mean, Jack reads POGO.

I haven't read a lot of Pogo in ages, or Tintin it seems since I couldn't guess where it was from, though I have read the book.

Yeah, more sappy crap. Pinita and Tristan. I wanted to try markers again.

the only thing I feel is weird on the pencil drawing is the heavy line between the head and the left ear.

it would work better as a softer line or only tiny lines toward the edges of the ear to show where it would be moving.

but that's just me.

She wants to know why her mom hasn't come back yet.

Yeah, in terms of sad/sappy pictures, I've long since crossed the point of no return. Resistance is futile.

Oh look another post by me.

It's Seamus from Roo's comic after drinking too much cider. I drew this pretty quickly so it's pretty crappily done. Not that anyone will notice, because no-one seems to come here anymore.

OBJECTION! I check the post every time you update, but I'd feel stupid saying "that looks amazing" after every one since it would lose its meaning, and I'm bad at critiquing stuff so I wouldn't have anything of value to contribute. Nevertheless, I greatly enjoy seeing the "New post" icon next to this thread whenever it happens.

I second what Dan said! I always feel happy seeing the new post icon light up next to your topic. Your drawings make my day brighter.

Also, I think Roo will love it :D
