Hmmm... Sorry, I'm afraid I can't feel sympathy for this, since there's something I find ironically just about these sort of things. A person. A forbidden line to not cross. The sensible conclusion one would draw from this is that they should keep as far away from it as possible. The reality is that they try to stand on the line. Of course they always inevitably fall over it due to a miscalculation.
I never have had to worry about losing my (larger, but still only 1/4 of my total tuition fees) scholarship. I go to every class, do all my homework, study for tests I need to study for, start long-term assignments early (grudgingly) and don't half-arse assignments. I've found that all adds up to constant As and Bs for me.

Yeah, but it's not always that simple. There are too many instances in which outside, non-curricular activies/events beyond your control can intefere with your schoolwork.

Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I could never be bothered with revising exams and school stuff. I know what I know, and what I cram in before is stuff I'm going to forget anyways about five minutes after the exam finishes.
I prefer practical exams where I can show how good I am at something, rather than how much i know about said topic.

You obviously never been to SCAD. I made practically all As on the paperwork because the vocab and terms stay in my head pretty well. SCAD is mostly an ART school. I got low in one class because I misunderstood the directions and screwed up a little. I just missed a B by 3 points. My quizzes and tests were well above average. Ranging from Bs-As. My art projects were mostly Bs in one class but occationally went to many As. I even made a 100 on my final in that class. But Drawing class was different. I think I was the 3rd worst drawer in the class. So you could imagine how good they are.I never have had to worry about losing my (larger, but still only 1/4 of my total tuition fees) scholarship. Really, not a good way to start a christmas with your parents knowing that you lost $10k.

It's ok Zaaphod, I don't plan on letting it happen to me.
Besides, I have only one semester left before graduation. So it CAN'T.
Arlo: True, that's why you set priorities. I always have schoolwork come first before that stuff.
I spread out my long term assignments and I take care of my short term assignments the day I am assigned them. I got plenty of spare time.

Fortunately, most subjects I don't have to study for. :XWhere do you find time to do anything else??

Ouch.Lets say that I neglected to understand my university's grading system and lost a $10,000 scholarship for now.
I have to worry about alot of stuff right now too (other than getting a scholarship for school). I have little to worry about college-wise simply because I'll just go to a community college if I can't get to NAU. Money will be a problem around here if things go on the way they are now.
I feel your pain.
If you put peanutbutter anywhere on your body, I'll lick it off...

My deviantart... though it does suck.
My FA... nothing's on it right now, so there's no point to click it.
