I made this and I'm not too proud of it.

I worked on it forever, though. I had to do all the snowflakes individually.

*sigh*

Here's a tip for the snowflakes:

- Make several layers, putting some in front of the picture rather than behind it. Put all the layers on 'screen' blending.
- Take a brush at various sizes, all with hardness 0. The smaller the brush, the further back the layer you paint on. For the biggest brushes (size 15-30 or perhaps even more) paint them on the layers on the 'front' layers.
- Paint random specks over the picture. The smaller the brush, the less spacing there should be between the specks.
- Make the layers gradually less opaque the further they're at the back. Use the front layer as guidance for maximum opacity (90-100%), and then scale the opacity of the other layers between that and minimum opacity (about 20% or less).

And here's the result:

Hee thanks! Maybe I'll bring it back for Yule again this year.

Oh and to PR, another tip: Don't make the sky bright and blue. Remember, snow is a form of rain, so make it dark and grey, like if it were raining. It also helps to contrast the snowflakes better.

Lol, I know. That's what I did.

I colour on one layer, background on another layer, and snowflakes on the first layer. Then I added packed snow onto his coat in the final layer.

You must've never lived in Germany or something. Usually the sky is always a beautiful blue while when the eye moved down the sky turned white.

Usually, you would have to be in a forest to see something like this... luckily for me I was in a forest, so it's all good.

Also, I mixed the white from the bottom of the picture with the top blue so that it would all mix together better.

I think it's cute.

I say that in a manly way, of course.

FOX IN THE SNOW
WHERE DO YOU GO
TO FIND SOMETHING YOU COULD EAT
'CAUSE THE WORD OUT ON THE STREET IS YOU ARE STARVING
DON'T LET YOURSELF GO HUNGRY NOW
DON'T LET YOURSELF GROW COLD
FOX IN THE SNOW
