On your newest one, Max, it's not bad, but you must learn to:

1. Separate the farthest ear from the head.
2. To make the ears look like they are not the head (because, seriously, your ears literally are the head).
3. Create depth. Putting lines in certain places can help create depth in a character (shadow helps too, but that's a lesson for later).
If you put peanutbutter anywhere on your body, I'll lick it off...

ANYWHERE.

ImageMy deviantart... though it does suck.
My FA... nothing's on it right now, so there's no point to click it.

yea the 'separating-ears-from-head' thing is hard...can anyone give me any tips on how to do that? :S

as for depth, i also noticed he looked a bit flat...but i dont know where to put lines (like on clothes to show folds, etc.)

Personally, I think that the ears are really screwed up but that solution I provided is more of a temporary fix. For you to fix the ears you must learn how to get the head right. I had years of practice making all sorts of heads so I have it down, you just have to learn to stop making the ears the heads. This line I provided just barely fixes that.

For the clothes, goodness that took me a LONG time to get the hang of. I have no idea how I am capable of doing it rather I just do it naturally. I recommend that you hang some clothes and cloth in the shape of your furry and then draw the clothes you see.h

well...what should the head be like? when i draw out the first sketch i do a circle basically, and add two triangles at the top as rough ears...

is there any kind of drawing tutorial anyone can point me to? :?

Well for one, don't draw the triangles touching.

The ear thing is easier if you envision the head as being a sphere with the individual parts (muzzle, ears, cheek flaps) coming out of it. Here's a quick tablet doodle to show briefly what I mean:

Those hands and feet look rather tiny, though. Was that intended?

The torsos are facing towards us, the legs are facing forward, the arms are oriented to the torso but are expressing to the sides. That is SO Egyptian lol!
