The buildings are the way they are because they use the same texture. If I get them into maya a few layered shaders with different patterns on it will do the job.
Actually, I was also looking at the shape as well... the window/balcony/window/balcony sort of thing

The only thing I see wrong is that it's entirely unsuited for combat. :-P

That is my laziness at work :P. I actually planned to guard those with armor plates but I spent enough time as it is.

As Baconsticks said, it looks great. But it dosn't quite look that useful in close combat. Is it like an artillery cannon, slow but powerful?

Yes it is artillery. It is very slow and sluggish and the 3 leg layout is just something I think that makes it seem very different.

The mech standing next to it is about 18 meters tall. That makes the King Tri-Ped 36 meters long and about 20 or so meters tall.
