Topic moved now. You're a very naughty person for posting in the wrong section Sliver. :P No worries though, it's an easy fix. :D

photoshop is a good program. However, lots of people can't afford it. Some people get it illigally, I'm not telling you how!
To anyone who wants it and is in college, ask if they have discounts for Adobe products, I got CS2 for $100.
For those less fortunate to not be able to get this amazing program, or thing that this program I am about to mention ahs a better interface. (I can't say anything about either, because my opinion would be biased as I have used PS for a long time and GImp was confusing because of that) then you can use The Gimp.
GIMP is a wonderful program, I just can't get used to the interface :)
As for actual tutorials... I don't know. if you had photoshop I can tell you a way to do it. CodeCat and I have slightly different ways, but the end result is usually the same.

I'm still developing my way of doing it. I think it's great that everyone has their own way, it gives the strips character.
I don't have a graphic digital pad thingymajig. I just
I lucked out, got a small 4x6 pad at BestBuy with the credits from a previous return. Always wanted one and when I saw one for $99 I just had to get it :)
The pen tool is a must for creating the whites on their muzzles though. The lasso tool would make it look too blocky.
Oh, I've just been leaving the whites blank, hmmm.

Also QFT. I really liked the more realistic furry look to their muzzle. Me digs!

On a side note from looking at Sliver's profile....

Sliver, please give me your best cell phone sales pitch! Oh, and is your screename named after the Motorola SLVR?
gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

Well, basically I figure out what the customer will use it mostly for. For example, texters I recommend the T-Mobile Sidekick, full keyboard and a wide screen for easer reading. Same goes for net users. Older people I tend to suggest phones with easy to see buttons and large screens and durable , like the Samsung Sync (i.e. not a razr, white text on silver buttons is nasty and they break easy).

Don't really have a sales pitch, mostly just listen :)

As for the screenname, it's from a Second Life alt account I created but haven't had time to play with lately. Actually created the account before I got the sales job :)

The way I color the strips that wouldn't work.
