Either you need more textures, or that city is entirely made out of different colors of bathroom tile.

I was thinking that when I first saw the buildings in post 1. Oh well, it still looks pretty neat =P. The blue arrows in the road help I guess. The reflection on the asphalt, however, are strange though... unless it's made of a special material to help antigrav vehicles (Turbograv to use Tribes fans, lawl). But then when the sun is low the reflection would lyke totally blynd yew and you'd be "omg I can't sea" *craesh*

My friend (Cedien) also suggests you put a little FireFox (like on your desktop) to be running across the rooftops.... =O :marty:

That'd take forever to make a fire fox :P. And tiles are easy, and the road isn't THAT reflective.

if I can see the buildings on them then that's pretty darn reflective :O

I hate to admit, but even my friends who wwants the firefox so badly (as a joke, by the way) says it's too reflective... soz :O

The glass on the buildings being reflective makes sense, though. Maybe have some clouds in the sky? Hehe.

I like the city, but I'll like it better when I see people and vehicles in it.

A bit bad there, it would take too long to add those.

It has taken me several hours to model a P90 sub machine gun. The time to take modeling futuristic cars and people would take days and this is due next week. Do the math, nothing to do with laziness.

You fail to consider the scale of the image. I could throw together a few people in about 5 minutes (using a very small polygon count, like in the 20-50 range), Pattern some people to make a crowd, And then your done. Same thing with cars. No matter how detailed a model is, It's useless when seen from afar.

Do the math.

20-50 polygon people won't do. Besides the city doesn't have any people in it, why stay when your being invaded. Even if I could make people and stuff it is already taking too long to finish the scene. I have roads to place as well as stop lights and street lamps and then comes the task of animating my mechs to do battle for the final animation submission. There is no room for low detail people or cars and no time to make good ones.

Apologies for the necromancy, but I like the buildings. Think you could sell a few designs to my city's government? We've got a great spot for them.
