New track, recorded with my Dean ML (The black one) droptuned a fair way down to match a 7 string's tuning.

Sweet Nyte, I can seriously hear that being part of a song.

Anyhow, I just slapped together this ambient tune...I've been having some trouble getting my keyboard hooked up...I'm also very out of practice.

Damn that lead sucks. Oh well, this can and will be improved. Also, please don't kill me for using Mediafire. Kthx.

I would post the song I made in Fruity Loops but that is for a mod, and is too dark and ambient for this.

Simply put, my best recording so far, taking a doom MEHTUL approach with my now-downtuned Dean ML..XD

Ooh, I'm really digging Deathmarch. Probably because doom MEHTUL is one my favorite genres. It reminds me of Anathema's earlier stuff, mixed in with a bit of Metallica's early works, Black Sabbath and, dare I say, Children of Bodom. Nice!

Nice guess..=p..the riffs is inspired by Skyfire and Thunderstorm, a Melodic Death MEHTUL group and a Doom MEHTUL group respectively. Skyfire's like Bodom but less guitar driven.

I'm checking out some Skyfire right now... sounds nice! Reminds me of Dark Tranquility somewhat (see siggie) and yes I definitely see similarities between them and COB.

A band called "Thunderstorm" would be hard to trace on YouTube, so, um, here is what I was somewhat reminded of when I listened to your mad riffz: http://youtube.com/watch?v=x8Zi4C9JJO4 Granted, its slower and a little more... daunting, but it's still doomy.

Ah..^^..Yay, I got someone listening to Skyfire..=p

Random note: does anyone have an idea where to find a good Dean Razorback 7, or anyone who wants ot buy a guitar..I'm gonna get rid of two of my 6-stringers so I can save up for a proper 7

Just finished this ambient piece, I quite like it. Very bassy, so turn your sub down.

Edit: I'm also using Putfile this time so you can stream the song.

Many apologies for the lateness of this and the double post bu I've gotten back into the habit of recordings. I used the Dean ML in both of these recordings. Number 1 is a near ten-minute long practice session in overdrive using the bridge pickup (Dimarzio X2N), and number 2 is a demonstration of just what the guitar can do in clean amplification using the neck pickup (EMG H4A).

$3660, and I can break the costs individually.

Explorer: $950
Dean ML: $1350
Gibson LP: $750
Line Six SP 2: $250
Marshall MG30DFX: $360
Rocking out hard: Priceless

For everything else there's Mastercard.
Geez...you beat me to the joke. Once again I'm too slow. Very nice guitar playing BTW Nyte. Thanks for sharing.
Nathan
