I think people such as Chris are either (a) overcompensating for a self-suppressed urge to gloat or (b) fishing for compliments. Either way, I'll indulge: Chris, the difference is too subtle for nitpicking.

I won't say what Chris is like but I personally am a perfectionist in my personal art and writing. However, I rarely say things like "I suck" or "this sucks", but rather point out the specific thing that I think is the fault/s in the picture.

That's really impressive, Chris! I find it really hard to get straight lines while tracing with a mouse, they usually come out either all wobbly or totally off-course. Two thumbs up!

Especially considering how bad the mouse is. It is like trying to tame a monster I guess from what Chris told me.

A mouse is that bad? Try using a touchpad, it's a lot harder than a mouse.
