Ah, perhaps our world is accessible through the easy chair. Or possibly through the periodic table (come to think of it, my parents have a table that we keep misplacing…). Either that, or REM is so amazingly cool that they have defied evolution as well as the laws of existence themselves and spontaneously manifested as humans in the Ozy and Millie world. Kind of like Stuart Little being born to Mr. and Mrs. Little, except in reverse (the book, not the movie).

Maybe humans are legendary in the O&M-verse. Maybe their version of REM doesn't actually look like that.

On second thought, those faces look awfully vague from here. Maybe they're not supposed to be human at all.

We are the Precursors, the strange beings who built a vast and mighty civilization. Then, one day, we vanished, and the Earth was quiet.

The spark of sentience dawned in the lesser beasts, however, and upon the surviving remains of our world they built their own to the model of what we left behind - the Constitution, the records kept in libraries, and yes, REM.

I think this one is supposed to be of Isolde laying on her back. Or maybe flying. I can't really tell. I really like this one, though Isolde doesn't seem like the type that would wear clothes that expose her chest. Nonetheless, great drawing.
