Sadly I can't take the time to read all of the posts on this topic (and believe me I *REALLY* want to), but I watned to say that I've always believed in this myself.

C, Q and X are stupid letters! Yay for K and S!!! Go Millie, go!

When I fly out of Australia, I'd like to fly Kwantas.
Sincerely,
Stephan (not the Aardvarke)

In Slavic languages we use all letters in pronouncing Words.

Well if C was replaced with K and S, what would happen to words like "church"?

CH would become a letter in itself I guess. Not all letters can be made with one single consonant or vowel. Look at the Japanese Nihongo system for crying out loud. XD

This reminds me of back when I started trying to write an entirely new language for my books I'm writing. (No, it's not going to be written in the language.) Tried finding ways of simplifying it and for a while it was actually coming together incredibly well.

...

Till I lost interest in such a monumental task.

Like I said, the Indonesian system uses C to make the "ch" sound. But if your goal is to reduce the alphabet rather than word length, you could use "kh" instead.

Anyway, have a look at what Andrew Mutchler (the Kinky Turtle) did with the strip.

I love procrastination jokes =D. Makes sense, would probably make English easier to learn but harder to teach at first.
I'm not going to pick up on your sarcasm...

Panel 3 awesomeness.

That said, I'm currently procrastinating on some work I have to do by replying to this topic. w00t
