Avery's grand epiphany

And so it's revealed. Has Avery given up on being cool? Doesn't that destroy his personality? (I use personality loosely.) Tune in next week for the thrilling conclusion, same bat time, same bat network!

I liked this strip for Millie's situation, it made me chortle more than the final gag. Meh, maybe wrong something's my head in.

i really liked milly getting tangled in the yo-yo in the last pannel, but i hated ozy's expression int he last panel also, so it was a toss-up

Wow, Avery coming down to earth. I kinda saw something along these lines coming since the last strip. Now here's the question: Avery only realized that he's not cool, so is he going to come to terms with it or will he try to change it and stay as he always was?

Y'know, Avery not being cool is something of an oddity.. I mean, Didn't DCS himself say he has fans? Okay, admittedly, not everyone with a fan group is cool, but it definitely helps. Besides, I thought Avery's notion that he is not cool was the motivation of his trying to become cool.

In a related business note, markets have reported a serious drop in Kablammo Cola stock.

We don't know that Avery has nto given up on being cool he has just realized that he's not. I have no idea how he's goign to take it. I'm much more interested in the yo-yo sub-story thoguh.

It's happened before.
Yes, both the yo-yo and the Avery doubting his coolness. Of course, it's never happened where he admitted it outright.

I sorta feel sorry for Avery. It's hard for him to admit this. It's around as hard as it is for me to admit I'm not a true geek. I think that I could learn how to be a geek with hard training, but geeks and jocks are born, not made. I think... succesful geeks and jocks anyway. There's a lot of feeling going on in this strip. It says a lot about Ozy that he's there when people need him.

If it's any consolation Avery, you still have a cool hairdo. Hey, anyone else notice this is the first time we've seen Avery without his hat?

Okay guys, you can stop throwing up now. The mushy stuff's over. At least from me anyway.

Sorry for being late, I've had a busy day today.
