The tail has sprouted a lot quite fast.

Is that an understatement?

You know, with mud that dark it looks like he's dying himself to go goth with Felicia.

I initially assumed something worse than mud. He did get tarred once, after all, and there could be an accident with his dad's motor oil.

Scott Adams was right: "It's hard to draw mud!"

If Jeremy pushed Millie in the mud, she might like it on some level. Not entirely, tho, because she'd know it was disrespectful.

I was actually thinking along the lines of used motor oil myself. Easy conclusion to draw when all you've got to go on is black and white.

Ozy vs. Jeremy

Postby paupal244 » Mon Jan 07, 2008 7:08 pm

Poor Ozy, he sure gets picked on a lot by Jeremy. He should do what Millie did a few years ago, and sue Jeremy for pain and mental anguish. But I guess Ozy is above all that, and will just meditate.

I'm in the process of writing a fan-fic script that's kind of similar.
Ozy ends up getting dyed red and everyone thinks he's a new "punk" fox, (especially since he gives his name as Justin when asked) and Felicia declares that they have to be the official "cool" couple, because otherwise she would have to date Jeremy, or it would default to Ozy and Millie being the school's "official" couple. All of this leads eventually to a joke about "Zen dating."

I should really wrap that up and post it for the enjoyment of all.

that actually does sound interesting. I could see DCS doing it at some point, to be honest (not that I would expect him to)
[00:34:00] <Dermy> I do love to manipulate the standard rules of language for opportunistic effect
[00:34:06] <Dermy> Like a grammar hyena, I am
[00:34:16] <Dermy> Munching on the tasty entrails of tradition

[22:26:20] <MuffinSticks> I'm a chocolate muffin with white ears and a striped black and red tail

And my FA account as well!

I'm pretty sure enjoyment and fan fiction don't really go together, unless you get enjoyment from making fun of fan fiction.

That depends entirely on the quality of the fan fiction. Some are good and others make a good case to wipe out the writer's extended family to purify the gene pool.

True. Fanfic writers and even professionals all have to deal with the vexing obstacle that is Sturgeon's Law.

90% of everything is crud.

Those are daunting odds to be up against. Here's hoping you can defy them.

I've written some City of Heroes fanfics, and its nature as an MMORPG can allow for complete stories where the canon characters never even get involved, and so do not get tampered with, avoiding one of the most common traps fanfic writers fall into (Loose Canon Syndrome). I know I'm just one of the countless ameteurs out there, but at least it's good practice for someone aspiring to doing it for a living.
It is a mistake to fancy that horror is associated inextricably with darkness, silence, and solitude. I found it in the glare of midafternoon, in the clangour of a metropolis...
