Well, I mean sitting on a huge pile of gold six hours a day can't pay THAT well...

What I think I liked best about this guest strip, is that it's really built out of the strips continuity. There's nothing really about it that sets it apart from any regular "D.C" strip so that it would need to be disregarded as out of continuity. Really, the only thing that showcases it as a guest strip is the breaking of the 4th wall, which is extremely rare around here. (of course, he could just as easily be talking to a POV shot of Ozy perched atop his tail. lol)
Which is my long winded way of saying that I dug it, great job!

True, and I'm also impressed about how close the interpretation of the character drawing is to the usual character model. Kudos!

And I believe this is the first time I've seen Llewellyn speak to the reading audience. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

(writing this while sitting on the floor because I've moved my furniture but not my computer, so far)
I would be remiss if I did not chime in and mention that the storyline in which it's established that the Llewellyn family holds a patent on fire was Albert Temple's idea to begin with.
He said to me "Llewellyn holds a patent on fire!" Like it was just something he knew and had to tell me. And I said "...yeah, I'm sure that's true."

Albert is certainly an original fellow. "Gene Catlow" is basically never predictable, and I feel like the majority of his characters are smarter than me.

It probably also doesn't do much good for his behind.

Well, Albert Temple's comic knows how to build a great continuity in the stories.
