Bloviate-To speak or write at length in a pompous or boastful manner.

WOW. You learn new stuff everyday.

Nice touch Image

You know, it almost feels like Ozy was just looking for the perfect time to recite that line.

I thought of the poem before I saw it. Is O&M getting more sensible, or am I just getting better at psyching out its punchlines?

Well, obviously Millie learned something from reading the dictionary.

This is the first time Ozy and Millie has made me look up a word.

Nice strip. Though seeing as how people like Homer are still known and celebrated thousands of years after their deaths shows that art (in all its various forms) is the best way to immortality of any kind. Even the artists's kings and patrons had to rely on them to preserve their memory. Ars longa, vita brevis.

She's no stranger to long words.

I always like it when the strip references that poem.

That, and Millie's expression in panel 3 is quite nicely done :wag:

"Always" is a curious term to use when there have been only two occasions. Or am I missing one?
