It's only now that I noticed that DCS writes his I's differently if they're part of a word, than when he writes the word I by itself...

Well, so do I sometimes. At least when I'm writing something in all caps. I think it's partly aesthetic, so the 'I' doesn't look wierd all by itself.

Though I didn't notice that DCS does that until you pointed it out.
