She's not very good at rhyming though. 'Burn' and 'learn' don't rhyme, and neither do 'stern' and 'churn'. :P
Furries? Are they the nutters that pretend to be animals and draw humans that look like animals? Christ, I sink my head into my paws... -Rooster

They do when I say them. And I think it's safe to say that Millie and I have the same regional accent. :))

Hmm I'm not very well-versed in US dialects and accents to be honest, so I wouldn't really be able to tell what it sounds like (other than what I'd just collectively call 'American'). I guess I'd just have to hear it.I

I can think of quite a few movies that could have been improved if the characters suddenly broke into song

I pronounce 'learn' as /l3:rn/, and 'burn' as /bU:rn/ (same sound as in 'put'). And I have a Dublin-English accent.
Mine is the standard west coast TV accent.

Actually, my significant other, Orv, is from the midwest, and it was interesting discovering, via this quiz, that we in fact have measurably different accents.
My accent is generally Received Pronunciation English, although there is a touch of Lancashire in there from time to time, plus some Vermont accent as I lived there a while. My Mate spent the first part of his life in the midwest before his parents moved to Virginia...

... an interesting combination. :)$
Just a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home.

(And there are a lot of wrong directions on that lonely way back home.)
