Hmm I'm not very well-versed in US dialects and accents to be honest, so I wouldn't really be able to tell what it sounds like (other than what I'd just collectively call 'American'). I guess I'd just have to hear it.I

I can think of quite a few movies that could have been improved if the characters suddenly broke into song

My accent is generally Received Pronunciation English, although there is a touch of Lancashire in there from time to time, plus some Vermont accent as I lived there a while. My Mate spent the first part of his life in the midwest before his parents moved to Virginia...Mine is the standard west coast TV accent.I pronounce 'learn' as /l3:rn/, and 'burn' as /bU:rn/ (same sound as in 'put'). And I have a Dublin-English accent.
Actually, my significant other, Orv, is from the midwest, and it was interesting discovering, via this quiz, that we in fact have measurably different accents.
... an interesting combination.

Just a walking contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on his lonely way back home.
(And there are a lot of wrong directions on that lonely way back home.)
