If Spiderman can do whatever a spider can, does that mean he has trouble getting out of bathtubs?

And what about his natural fear of swatting by newspapers?

That song never sat well with me for that reason. And you know, they never say what kind of spider. Different ones have different abilities. Does he make trapdoors? Does he bite sideways with the force of a bee sting?

Thanks to the LJ community Metaquotes, I know of a fanfic in which some superheroes visiting NYC hear of Spider-Man but know little about him. When some webbed-up crooks ask to be released, one hero says, "No way am I touching a guy's butt-splooge!"

Hm, so Millie shuns spiders but doesn't mind watching "Spider-Man." Flip-flopper. :-P

yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what kind of spider he is. the genetically engineered one that has wrists.

You know, vomiting digestive enzymes onto paralyzed crooks could be a more efficient way of scaring them straight. Parker should look into that.
