Wow, Millie's face in that last panel is priceless!
As for Ozy's fangs, I'm thinking that previously he was actually upset about what had been happening to him and for a moment lost his zenlike disposition. Now he's back to thinking straight (as you can see by his pose in the first panel) and thus his fangs are no longer needed.
Of course I'm still of the opinion they make him even cuter! :-P

I'm 60/40 about his one (I 60% like it, 40% don't).
If you put peanutbutter anywhere on your body, I'll lick it off...

My FA... nothing's on it right now, so there's no point to click it.

Okay, mind shareing? I don't mean to get rude, but for some reason you really tick me off. >:6
What possible reasons do you have to not like 40% of a strip?
IMHO, a fansite should be for fans. When someone has an actual problem with a strip, then some constructive and tactfull criticism is okay. Don't just go around with one line posts saying that it's not very good. And yes, that's what you said. a 60% is a babby step above FAIL. *growls*
(and yes people. This is my angry side that you've never seen before.)

Recent studies

Postby Az » Tue Nov 28, 2006 11:03 pm

Long time reader first time post.

Just wanted to pipe in and mention that the theme of this recent thread was undone by recent research. For a long time sociologists and psychologists assumed that bullies were the way they were due to poor self image or confidence issues. But no one ever really looked into it. It was always just assumed.

Well someone finally got around to checking it out and what they found is that its actually the opposite. Seems bullies have an overly exagerrated sense of themself. It is when their sense of self is pricked or deflated by others that they instigate violence.

All those afterschool specials exhorting kids to stand up to bullies and they will back down have long been looked at as silly by most kids because they know that when you stand up to a bully they hit you.... hard... really hard. Its because you have done exactly what sets them off.

It's a COMIC STRIP. Does it really matter if the opinion of the artist is backed up by facts? NO.

You talk about 'bullies' as if they are some genetic mutation from humans which can be classified and studied. Not all bullies are alike and you can't classify what makes them do what they do. In fact useing 'they' isn't right either. They are PEOPLE. We have all been bullied and we are all bullies to someone. You can't go around acting like it's a disorder to be studied to find a cure.

Again, you can't act like there is some solution to it. In my own experience, in the space of a year the biggest bullies have turned and become friends. The rudest jerks have become my favorite people. People change constantly and so does society. You never solve a problem, only change it.

I refuse to read the last two posts. Too many words.

And my head starts hurting when I look in the general direction of the posts, so I assume it's a pointless internet argument. D:

Indeed it is. I apologize for my behavior, but I stand by my opinions. I leave the argument for others to decide and will refrain from persuing it further. Again, my apologies. Thank you.

Love Ozy's smile. We don't see that too often. That's like a beeming grin from him. <3 :wag:
