I highly recommend you look at today's strip before drawing any conclusions about the title.

I love the interactions between Principal Vine and Dr. Wahnsinnig. Their personalities bounce off each other so well.

Also, it turns out that the school was just worried about crazy abnormal kids again.

Wow. Haven't seen Mr. Vine in ages. Not that I'm complaining; he's a very disturbing character. The idea that he thinks Felicia was ever a good student is really creepy.

Mr. Vine disturbs me. He's not, exactly, the kinda guy who should be principal. He ignores Jeremy's bullying, thinks Felicia was a good student...

He comes to work on the short bus, DOESN'T HE?!?

Actually, there is such a thing as being experimental enough to kill.

It's a rather lucrative carreer that I believe is known as "weapons inventing"

Funny strip, though. And desturbingly reminiscent of Ozy's trip to Dr. Wahnsinnig...

..I've never really gotten this "experimenting with your identity" thing... But then, the only time in my life I've ever paid any heed to what other people felt was "cool" and whatnot was a rather embarrassing anti-label (as in, any sort of written label on the outside of garments, designer or otherwise) when I was in year 8. Aside from that, I've always been one to simply be myself, especially in terms of dress sense, and not giving a damn about what others think of me because of it.

With his hooves? they have corners, you know - that's all you need.

This message brought to you by the base of my telephone. And my answering machine.

Mr. Vine is starting to remind me of most of the administration at my middle school. And some high school VPs. It's as if all public school administrators are trained in the unart of making students generally miserable and being impervious rocks of unswayable unsense.

No, I take that back. He's always reminded me of them.

Is it me or does Principal Vine's hair seem longer?

That's the same as asking, "How does Mr. Larnblatt hold his conducting baton?"

(For those of you who are new to the strip and haven't seen him, Mr. Larnblatt is a zebra.)

so is Dr. Wahnsinnig's, it's because both have been the victim of lesser-characterization and new styles

Glad to see Principal Vine hasn't changed. There's no situation he can't overreact about.
