She's right you know. And someone like Felicia won't understand until they hear that one piece of music...that touches them to the soul.

I like the way Millie looks in the 3rd panel. I find it cute somehow. And I'm beginning to chuckle every time I see the "Jesus eyes."

When I hear Mockingbird, I think the Song by Eminem, not the Kiddy one, so I didn't.

Not you too! :x

Felicia, I can relate. There are too many songs out there whose purpose, other than accruing money, is to do the whining for millions of people with vaguely similar troubles. I can appreciate Beck's "Loser" or R.E.M.'s "Bad Day," but not many others. And don't get me started on songs specifically whining about unrequited love.

Google didn't turn up the lyrics in Panel 3. I assume DCS composed them.

I rcognised it instantly, even before I finished the comic. Although I may have been tipped off by the CD cover in the previous panel.

And for those of you unfamiliar, go here, it's the fifth song on the page.

See I didn't realize that, because the only Song I've heard by DC, is the Nina tribute. Had I known you were talking about that, I wouldn't have said that.

Problem is, for Felicia that would be "Bananaphone". Or something similar. Not that there is a problem with that

I was just listening to the mockingbird song yesterday so I recognized that DCS had written it.

Now if DCS' music has appeared in the comic and DCS sometimes draws herself as a dragon (last I checked) does this mean that DCS is a musician in the comic world? Or am I just reading too deep into a simple joke? Will this be the last question I ever ask? What if its not?
