I'd say that sums up the logic and actions of popular people. Nice to everyone it is personaly convenent to be nice to, and they are arrogant to whoever isn't personaly convenent to them. 2 thumbs up Simpson :D   :) :| :P

Millie shouldn't do it. Not until Felicia can actually understand what she does.

Now that I think about it, the music I listen to means something to me too...

The reason we become attatched to music is because it means something to us. I had a good chuckle at this one...I've known way too many people like this. Being a nice person means being nice to everyone, not just a select few. Therefore, I can't see Millie helping Felicia any time soon.

This is one of the most serious moments Millie has ever had in my recent memory.

I guess my taste of music is only personal to me in that not a lot of other people I know listen to the same genres. But I don't mind sharing my taste with others really.

And here we go, for yet another colouring. This time I hope I got all the arms and ribbons right, so Tumo won't jump me again...

Like, I only corrected you on the ribbon. IceDragon told you about the wool. Omigaw...

I found this one quite amusing.

Hmm, I just realised something, my taste in music is kinda dictated by what internet radio stations are available. Thankfully many internet goers are into electronica.

please stop...if I hear another person talk (or type) like that, I might explode

anyway, nice strip...another good expression on the part of Millie.

and this strip does have truth to it, because (most) music I like means something...while with the general public, be it kids or adults, something that's "cool" usually means nothing.

I actually like Felicia's expression of fake honesty (or whatever it is) in panel 3 the best.

Hmmm...these last three strips seem a little too alike for me :?

I can rel;ate to Millie on both scales on this one.

My Music does Mean something to me, and when I have My Music Player going (when don't I?) My moods can swing with the Music. Like right now, I'm kinda peppy because Walk This Way By Aerosmith is playing, While at other Times, I can become Completly Depressed because i may be listening to something Like Good Charlotte or HIM

I even wrote an English paper on how My music affects me, and Got an A+ on it, and my teacher said it was the best work she's seen from me EVER.

Now for the second scale...

I'm generally a Nice guy, but I can get mean an Nasty when I want to. If you've ever noticed, Most of the Characters I create are Kinda Dark and mean, While In RL, I usually wear Bright colors and silent when not neasr my friends. But Back to what I was saying, I can only get mean and Nasty, when someone else Is mean or nasty to me. When someone says something about me I don't like, I flip em the Bird and just keep walking. The only real exception is on the Bus where Stuff was always thrown at me. However, I had a secret weapon, My Music. I have some of the WORST songs that you could imagine on a sepreate Playlist, and I keep it OFF of My ITunes.

But that's My 2 cents on this one.

Also, I seem to recal Rusty, that that Avatar of yours, was one that I came up with a while back, along with others.

Something tells me that this conversation between Millie and Felicia is far from over.

What does it mean for music to mean something to someone?

I think what it means is that the person who the song effects can ,in some way, relate to the song and actually think about it. Others might think it has meaning because it had wound up in an important time in their life. (ex. Anaversiry music) Or it could bring up sad memories. What the music means to the person is that "I can relate to this song" "it holds special meaning to me" But other times the music can be a reflection of their attitude, personal feelings, or personality.
