I'll comment on this one when I've read the corresponding Wikipedia pages

Sometimes, Millie really manages to say things the right way. Two big thumbs up from me! :D

Now wait just a minute. "B.C." is almost always corny, but I think the preachy episodes, while standing out among comics, are still in the minority. We're just as likely to be left with a mere pun or the baseball team sucking or a turtle being slow.

Not that there's anything right with that.

I think this is a first in the O&M world -- One of the characters referencing another already existing comic strip, heheh.

Didn't Millie reference Cathy once?

Niko I assume those numbers you put in the post title are the time, I don't think they're necessary. The name of the strip as it appears on the site and it's date are all that's needed.

No it's just an observation, I don't see any proof in what Millie said to prove that they're aging.

In Ozy's defence he DID say "today".

Garfield was mentioned in a filler once. Millie disapproves of it.

He did, but the context, especially Millie's reaction, suggests that they take the combination of corniness and preachiness as a constant. This thread's title -- replacing "valuable" with "variable" -- seems truer.

But enough with that. Here's hoping that Ozy quits "B.C." more easily than I do.

"B.C." is closing in on 50 years of existence, which is really quite amazing. Hart writes, draws, and inks each strip himself; no army of assistants.

I coloured this one too just for the fun of it...

EDIT: Whoops, I forgot to notice that the clouds were really a bit of shrubbery. Fixed now!

Cartoonists provide the most valuable public service of all, besides police officers.

I really don't think this means they're aging. Dana isn't going to start aging them so she can make their perspective be nerds in middle school (nerds purely in the intelligence aspect, nothing compared to Stephan :P). Besides, how many times has Millie talk about stuff like this just as an opening to an arc?
