Darn it, I wanted to nab this one. but noooo, some of you don't sleep.

Anyhow, I like millie in the 2nd and 3rd panels. Her eyes are slightly googly from panic. very cute. I know exactly what she's talking about, too. It *gasp* happens to me *gasp* too. I see he's drawing her with those cute little fangs more often now.

Well, I guess two in a row is beyond me...

I can't say I understand, but I do know what she's talking about sorta... I've seen it in cartoons anyway... If you think about it, you can't do it. I don't have that problem though. At least I don't THINK I do...

Once again Ozy makes a pun at a pigeontoed Millie's expense.

I've had that exact problem many a time.

If I notice my breathing, I start thing about it, and then I have to remind myself to do it. Very annoying when I'm trying to do something.

Hehe, it's a case of it being Harder to Breathe for Millie.

Great strip.

I love seeing these all out silly strips being drawn more often by D.C. Priceless!

...and yes, I've had Millie's problem, too. Very alarming when it happens. A similar kinda thing happens to me sometimes when I'm trying to go to sleep...when I realize that in the next few moments I will be unconscious, it freaks me out. I dunno why.

[/completely pointless post]

D.C. Priceless? Is he related to M.C. Defenseless? (No I don't expect any of you to know who that is.)

Anyway, this is kinda like a "Peanuts" cartoon where Linus accidentally becomes "aware" of his tongue, meaning that he can feel it in his mouth. Then he tells Lucy about it, and how awful it is not being able to stop thinking about it, and Lucy says "HA! That's stupid!" and then walks off. Then she stops suddenly, makes an "Uh oh" face, and then turns around and says to Linus, "I oughta knock your block off!"

I often have the opposite problem when I'm waking up, especially if my dream is realistic.

This morning I woke up at 0500, decided I was still tired, hit the snooze button, and went back to sleep. Except I didn't hit the snooze button at all; the alarm was still on. So I dreamed about my normal morning routine. I polished my shoes, put on my uniform, went to formation, ate breakfast, and was headed to class when for whatever reason at about 0620 I realized I was still asleep. My mind woke up, but my body didn't. People talk about sleep paralysis, but partial paralysis is worse. My legs worked enough to get out of bed and stand up, but my upper body (eyes included) refused to operate. Freaked me out.
