I think they look the same; if anything they look slightly like they did before some minor recent changes. Ozy looking a bit different is due to his rather rare "surprised" expression. Oh and <img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

Um... what about the 60's? Judging by the music and history books, I'm quite sure there was lots of surrealism then. After all, haven't many of those artists been considered "ahead of their time"? All in all, it has often been fun watching them contemplating God.

They say whoever says they remember the 60s wasn't truly there. Anyway, funny strip. With Ozy seeming to go from supprised to more so throughout the panals. ..As for those artists that were heralded as being ahead of their time, I was under the impression most of those were musicians. *looks at the doctor who theme music*. Although, that's more 'out of all time' than 'ahead of it's time'

All artists can be dubbed ahead of their time if they are/were i think, not just musicians. I think the 60's surrealism was different from the original artistic surrealism an that's probably what is being talked of here, considering how Millie talks about painting a sunset. I don't have much knowledge, i know more about surrealistic literature than the artistic kind but if they're anything alike then the original surrealists were exploring and delving into the subconscious mind. Trying to bring to life their inner thoughts and dreams. Freud influenced 20th century art and writing a lot and it's somewhat through his work that all manners of artists started looking into the interpretation of their dreams. In this art, Dali is an obvious choice of course.
