I don't like his hair to be grey, but that's because grey is my least favourite colour. So I'm biased.

It would be okay for Ozy to be a towhead. Early grey just brings to mind Steve Martin.

BTW, I've seen "grey" and "gray" about equally in American writings.

BTW... is "grey" the way the word is spelled in French? I thought only we Aussies and the British spelled it differently from "gray".
As Niner pointed out, grey is "gris" in French. It's not pronounced the same, either.
I'm French and was taught English at school. English, not American. So, yes, I use the British spellings (that are also used in Canadian English, by the way.)
