It's like the time Millie found out Ozy got sent to the scholl psychiatrist before she did.

Poor Millie.

So.. Justin, eh?

Thats not nearly as weird as Millie carrying around a list of exploits.

Anywho, is this strip a refrence to the time when the school thought he was a terrorist?

Arg, look at the IDT strip posted. It's most likely a reference to that.

Not that likely. In that one the joke was that the airport peoples couldn't tell the difference between the various David Simpsons and he got called to a seperate room.

In this one, the terrorist list is shown as being no huge deal. The person even gives Ozy the number to call to get off the list.

I don't know if he was supposedly pulled into another room, or if that was set up to demonstrate a point.

I don't know if I'm on the list, since I haven't been on a plane in about 20 years, and don't plan to either, since I hate heights.

It was set up to demonstrate a point. :)

In fact, my being on the watchlist appears to be no big deal whatsoever, and they gave me a number to get taken off the list. So the two strips in fact refer to the same experience.

Man, I can't wait to visit the USA again, now with my long hair and beard...

Maybe if I say I'm Scottish...everyone loves the Scots.

Except that a lot of Americans are convinced that Scotland is part of England...

Heh, the usual confusion between "England" and "Great Britain." Fortunately, not all of us Yanks suffer from such geographical ignorance. :)

Did you mean Great Britain or did you mean UK there? :P

(Great Britain is basically mainland Britain, includes some of the islands surrounding mainland Britain, but excludes the Isle of Man (I think) and the channel Islands. The UK is short for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.)

Sorry, been having this discussion on another forum.

Did you know that 11% of American young adults can't find the USA on a world map? Apparantly the National Geographic did a survey and found that to be the case.

Graded as American tests are, the test had Sweedon (the best result with 40 questions out of I can't remember how many) getting a B, and America getting a D. (The test was on World geographic trivia. Locating countries on a map, where the Taliban are located, that sort of thing. And lets here it for British grading systems, which are almost always on a curve. The top x% getting the highest grade, and then the grade boundries below that being calculated. And in the case of modular things, those grades are converted into standardised points out of an amount, the amount depending on how much weight is given to the module. For example, 80/100 and above at A levels equates to an A, but that 80 might represent 95% on an exam that everyone did well at, or 50% on an exam that everyone did poorly at. (70 is a B, 60 a C, 50 a D and 40 an E. Below 40 is a U, but the actual amount of marks that might make the difference between a low C and a B might be as little as 2 or 3)

Some of them also seem convinced that the Netherlands is part of Scandinavia. To this day I don't have a clue why; it's not like the Netherlands is the only country with blonde people outside of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
