I don't think characters aged this time around, I tink they're still 10 and whatever everyone else was after the 2000 restyle.

Anyway, this strip is great simply on Timulty's cuteness.

I thought about that too but just because he tries to be cool doesn't mean he's dumb.

lol I own Delphi for Dummies and Visual Basic 6 for Dummies. If you ask me, if he was reading Cool for Dummies, then he might actually end up being cool!

Seriously, though, I did once see this book "How to be cool"

Personally, I think he'd have better luck with the "Complete Idiot's Guide To Coolness".

Complete Idiot's Guides > Anything for Dummies.

Talking about characters aging I think Ozy looks quite a bit older in this one:

I don't see any agedness in there.

Not "agedness" agedness, but look at the other 1999 strips and I think that he suddenly looks...well, older's the only thing that comes to mind. First and second panels. I think its maybe the hair, or the tail, or the fluffy bits below his ears, i don't really know. Its just a personal opinion.

I can sorta see the aging you're talking about in the second panel if I look really hard for it...

Uhh... Jacob, you don't wanna sleep around here... people might mistake you for a dead carcas and chuck you in the bonfire to cook or something.

Have you guys completely forgotten that Avery's not cool anymore?

well... actually, he was never cool to begin with... but he was sorta always cool, but...

Bah! the point is, he's not pretending or trying to be cool anymore... that means he can read.

Myself, I can relate to both of them... I mean, who here doesn't make mouth music? On the other hand, when I'm reading a good book (which is rare, they don't make them like they used to... although now you guys are probably gonna shove a bunch of good books up my nostrils now) i don't like being disturbed... I can understand Avery's expressions there, I have had those expressions on my face before...

Here we are at the literalists convention... up next, the Avatar fixings! Ladies and Gentlemen, start your paint programs... ready.... set... SPOOF!
