Grammatically, shouldn't that be "Warum sagst du, das ich wahnsinnig bin?"

I don't know. Maybe you are right on the Warum sagst du part but I don' think you are right on the ich wahnsinnig bin part. In all my years of German study I haven't really encountered the word bin like that. That kind of usage mostly works with the word sein.

Grammatically, shouldn't that be "Warum sagst du, das ich wahnsinnig bin?"
