I seem too like Ozy's new look more than his old one, wether that's just a product of the novelty of it or not, I'm not sure. It's always possible that he could later get contact lenses of some kind to revert to his old look.
As to Millie's shirt vs. her old overalls - her overalls have always implied to me a sort of childishness, with all the innocence, youth, confusion and mania that implies. In that light, her more, almost casual when compared to her more monotonos, regular overalls, her shirt her, almost gives me a sense that she's grown up, just a little - confident enough in herself to try new things outside of her routine, including cloths, but also, given her expression, perhaps ideas as well.
The most recent storyline of her at her Mom's workplace certainly hints that things are changing a little in her head - Ozy's too, what with Ms Mudd and Llewellyn's semi-regular dating.
Change is good in moderation, but holding back or sticking to the same thing over and over again can be smothering - there's a newness, a freshness, a vigor in these sketches that's taken be off guard a little, got into my brain, and certainly, ahem, caused me to write more than usual.
Ad that doesn't usually happen with comics, let alone sketches. *looks forward to more*
