I'm not too sure I care too much for Ozy wearing glasses either, but then again, that might just be because I'm so used to seeing him without them.
To tell you the truth, I'm leaning against using them. I like them, but once you have an established character, if you're going to change him too much, you have to have a better reason than I think I have.

But that's what these long sketching sessions are for finding out, innit?

Its always good to experiment, Simpson, man.

not only does it help you figure out what's to come.. but it also encourages other artists such as myself to start experimenting with our stuff as well.. and dude, I so love your style here, these are some fine character sketches, and I look forward to seeing more of them

Man, something about the shirt Millie's wearing just seems really odd to me. Perhaps it's the lack of pants, or really just the fact that she isn't wearing overalls (or her winter clothes or rain jacket)

Millie's garb doesn't sit well with me either. Ozy's glasses don't really bother me, but he's so zen-focused that I don't think his appearance should get more complex by default.

Interesting to see the sketch lines of how Felicia would look shorn. Don't let Stephan see!

I like the glasses but that is coming from a guy in which 85% of his friends wear glasses. I'm all for the shirt though. Millie I'm not sure about, though I AM sure that I still like it.

Hah. Punk Felicia has to be one of the better things I've seen this week (In general, not just the comic). *wonders if that will ever show up in a storyline in the near future*

Felicia's sketches are really interesting. Something about the way she stands and her fluff makes her look more like a real sheep than her older designs.

I like Millie's flower shirt too; it's quite cute. Though it is odd seeing her without bottoms of some kind....save for dancing in some puddles.

I don't mind seeing Millie bottomless. Avery does that, too. Even though Ozy is wearing a shirt, he's still pantsless, like always.

I like the addition of the glasses to Ozy I have to admit. But for me, Millie is synonymous with overalls.

I seem too like Ozy's new look more than his old one, wether that's just a product of the novelty of it or not, I'm not sure. It's always possible that he could later get contact lenses of some kind to revert to his old look.

As to Millie's shirt vs. her old overalls - her overalls have always implied to me a sort of childishness, with all the innocence, youth, confusion and mania that implies. In that light, her more, almost casual when compared to her more monotonos, regular overalls, her shirt her, almost gives me a sense that she's grown up, just a little - confident enough in herself to try new things outside of her routine, including cloths, but also, given her expression, perhaps ideas as well.

The most recent storyline of her at her Mom's workplace certainly hints that things are changing a little in her head - Ozy's too, what with Ms Mudd and Llewellyn's semi-regular dating.

Change is good in moderation, but holding back or sticking to the same thing over and over again can be smothering - there's a newness, a freshness, a vigor in these sketches that's taken be off guard a little, got into my brain, and certainly, ahem, caused me to write more than usual.

Ad that doesn't usually happen with comics, let alone sketches. *looks forward to more*

I must say Millie's outfit there is probably just a one-time sketch thing and probably isn't worth analyzing.

And punk Felicia is probably the most awesome thing I've seen this week.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...
