Gravity is just a theory March 3rd

Not to split scientific hairs but isent gravity considered a law, and not just a theory? Here are a couple pages from wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory#Characteristics
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_law
Theories are typically less tested and supported...for example evolution, general relativity, quantum mechanics, etc.
Also I would like to point out that "Newtons Law of Gravitation" is considered a law, and not a theory:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_uni ... ravitation
Again....sorry for splitting hairs, but it was bugging me......

The sea was wet as wet could be,
The sands were dry as dry.
You could not see a cloud, because
No cloud was in the sky:
No birds were flying over head --
There were no birds to fly.

The human race is doomed. On a similar note, Conservapedia has a few things to say about the fallacy of gravity.

Technically, though, just because they've held up with every test so far doesn't make them scientific law. The theory is universally accepted as true, but is still theory (even if it seems stupid for it to remain so, it's at least consistent).According to Steven Jay Gould, both evolution and gravity qualify as both theory and law -- theory because they are technically unprovable, law because they've stood up to every test so far.
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.
Sure, I'll come. But just yesterday, I altered one of my unused genes slightly, so I am now no longer a member of the human race - so even if all humans die, I shall escape!Yeah, well, we've had a good run. The Walrus and the Carpenter
Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
Such quantities of sand:
"If this were only cleared away,"
They said, "it would be grand!"
