DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

I think that in their world of furs, socks and shoes are more of a formal thing. Similar in the way we'd wear ties, suits, earrings, high heels and such. Kids would normally not wear them unless it's for a formal occasion or cause they want to look snobby. :P

Hmm, that is interesting...
I see a contradiction:

It seems that DCS has invented the socks for one strip. :wag:
well strips don't really need to have actual continuity, so they often contradict theirselves.

and I'm glad mr W is back :wag:

see, this is why all my socks are the same color and type; black wool (good for hiking boots). never have to worry about mixing them up, ever.
Mine aren't, but I don't care, so mine get mixed up frequently. :)

That's a very scary thought. Where were you on Halloween?

Sock based political allegories make me laugh.

My, that's a colorful set. You'd think she reserved most of them for occasions other than work. Maybe she just collects socks as a hobby.

Or maybe, just maybe!, the socks are part of a subversive campaign to tribute our world to the couch world!

It is inevitable that she will someday look in Llewellyns sock drawer.

I can see that leading to something extremely odd. (And possibly another "CAUTION: VORTEX" sign.)

No, he'd be there to plunder his sockies. To plunder his booties he'd need to be in his boot closet.
