Am I the only one on this forum clever enough never to have stuck some appendice of my body into an electrical socket?
No, I haven't... Yet.

I think the worst shock I ever got was from an electric fly swat. And that was just a single charge, not a continuous current.

Not me, no. Though I did have the pleasant experience of being in contact with one of the prongs while plugging in a toaster oven.

I've had two accidents with electricity, the first was when I has plugging in a twenty-year-old organ, the shock went right up my arm and it actually felt good (endorphins?).

the second one was a few months ago, I tripped and touched a lamp socket and it hurt... badly.

those were the only times, <.< >.>,

I run into stuff a lot more, though.

EDIT: I think this is your best coloring job, yet

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

Hmm this strip needs an alternate title... I don't like the current one... let's see...

"Two different things"
"She kind of didn't learn much from it"
"It's Gandhi's fault"
"All sorts of mistakes"

I kinda like the current title, because it brings to mind the good old days when the titles, chosen by DCS, didn't use quotes straight from the strip. Yes, that's happening this time, but it reminds me of those titles from Woody Allen, Oscar Wilde, and whomever else.

First, I think you mean "appendage." Second, it depends what you count. When I was little, I found a light switch with the outer panel removed. I stuck my finger where I couldn't see and said a series of minor "ow's" before taking it out. Nothing too terrible.

But whether or not Millie is being stupid per se, she's certainly ignorant. Mistakes aren't the only way to learn. I didn't make any mistakes learning about the existence of O&M, for example.

I don't actually agree that the only way of learning is from making mistakes.

Nore have I ever really learnt from making them, really. I tend to learn from books. And succeeding. Not really from mistakes.

Will you never make the same mistake again? If not, you learned not to make the same mistake again! :)

In the third panel of the coloured version if you see the red as background rather than hair and the white spikey things as a border effect Millie suddenly looks very tomboy-ish.
