Ahh... all things find balance. It'd be interesting if she realizes she's at that point of equilibrium when she's there. I also wonder when that will be myself.

i love it how this comic occiasionally parallels my life.

i have a paper due tomaro that is a discription and critique of a journal article ('metastable prograde mineral reactioins in contact auroeles', muller et al., 2004). the point of the articlie is that the authors think that rather than the rocks going through successive equilibruim when they're heated, they overstep the equilibruim reaction, and experience a metastable (not stable) reaction.

so that's not too amusing an explination oft he article, but the last pape of my critique is titled 'an altternitive theory' and has a copy of this comic. under the comic i have:

Quote: (penguinita @ Oct 2004, )

An alternative reason for the overstepping of reaction 1 was put forth by Millicent Mudd (2004). Her argument is simply that the assemblage dol+qtz slept through the equilibrium reaction (reaction 1), thus having no choice but to participate in a metastable reaction (reaction 14).

ok, so i tried to make that explination make sence, and failed, so instead, i'll end on an understandable note:

rutabegas are nifty, except for the part where its really hard to make them burn.... thats anoying.

(ps. no, i'm not back for good, htis is more of a postcard.... see, i just had to share the amusement... i don't really have the tiem right now to participate more <sad>)

I'd give the paper an A+ just for that! Hope your teacher has a good sense of humor.

EDIT: I'm working on a paper about the fads and fashions of the Christian community, and I might just tack this comic at the bottom of it. Problem is, the comic's punchline isn't really all that good.

lol i want to see the comment on that.

Just a thought I've been having - maybe we could like all get DCS a present sometime, like, maybe for the end of O&M when (if) it happens. I'm thinking getting one of those huge billboard things, and sticking the "Best Strip Eva" up there so everyone's like "Wow, what's that selling?" then go to the website and larf. I dunno. Sometimes i think i think too much.
The end is nigh!

O&M ending is not an idea that I want to think of. It was hard enough when C&H ended.

A billboard advertizing "Ozy and Millie," eh? Wow, maybe we should. Anyone know how much those things cost to rent?

My brother-in-law was a campaign manger for judge he got elected. I think it was about a hundred something a month/week? or more but it would have been at the most expensive time of the year in my town.

Now, as great as mass advertizing is, you must remember this.

Visitors = Bandwidth.

Bandwidth = Money.

Don't go overboard guys.
