The quote is used to show how it's never THAT simple. One can find himself contradicting his self, even when it comes to jam apparently!

Upon re-reading this one I thought it's weird for Millie to use a quote which says "I am large"...seeing that Millie is a metre at best <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Walt Whitman was a non-conformist poet from the nineteenth century. I highly recommend him to anyone who hasn't given his stuff a chance.<br><br><br>Millie's face in the third panel is absolutely perfect.
