I don't know if I am comforted or disturbed by the fact that I always wanted to wish for as many wishes as I wanted like Millie says here...

Very funny strip, but I'm waiting for a nice and long storyline to develop soon! Hopefully D.C.'s got some ideas ready for drawing.

My favorite part was Ozy saying "yours might be trying to distract you while it robs a bank." He always seems to have a response like that to Millie's goofiness.
The funny thing is, he may be right.

y'know, I don't think I've ever seen Millie use that expression in the second panel, but I know I've seen somebody use it.

As I was pondering this, I thought I saw one of the characters in the logo move ever so slightly

Edit: on second thought, I sort of envy Millie. If dreams are your subconcious trying to tell you something, and she did everything in her subconcious mind that she would have in her concious mind, assuming it wasn't a lucid dream, then she must have achieved peace with both her brains, and that's a fundamental step to finding inner peace.

Edit2: pun not intended.

Aren't there some people who can actually control their dreams? I think its genetic. I'm kind of wondering if Millie has that ability because of the way she gets what she wants in this dream. I could see her really abusing it if she did.

As a side note, has anyone else noticed Ozy and Millie seem to have enourmous ears? I think it's kind of cute.

"I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies"
- "Holiday", from Green Day's "American Idiot" album. Also a good way to describe my political views. What, me cynical?
A dream you can exert some control over is a "Licud dream", and i don't know if they are genetic or not. in order for it to qualify, though, you have to KNOW your dreaming. from this, it sounds like millie thought it was just reality, as we all take most dreams until we wake up.
If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

[...unWARP!!!]

Good evening.

For some reason, the way Millie presents her dream makes it look like she's just making it up.

As for lucid dreaming, I once made the US Army give a fanfic character of mine a thank-you letter for all her hard work in fighting a war (she had superpowers).

Zacatepngolas!

Until next time, remember:

I

AM

THE

J.A.M.

Good evening.

[WARP!!!]
This has become one of my favourite single strips, definitely. The loophole is what made me laughed and the subsequent food fight is random heaven.

When you look into it how many jokes are in this strip? The appearance of a genie (as cliche as that might be now it's still funny), Millie asking for the typical million wishes, the genie knowing of the ploy (the loophole) and his deterrant for that, Millie saying that was what she wanted anyway, Ozy explaining the subconscious (think of how it relates to Millie), and the final gag of her robbing a bank. That's a lot for three panels.
