I'm not so sure I get Millie's argument here. But then again, I haven't exactly been keeping a close eye on the Simpsons, which has been running on TV forever now.

Hhm. Looks like DCS is trying a new drawing style.

You're kidding, right? I can never tell when you guys are kidding. Dangit, stick a smiley face after your sentence when you are kidding!

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

But that would interfere with my deadpan humor delivery.

Dang, took me a while to get the joke there (mostly because I was treating the word "intimate" as a verb, for some reason).

Millie should stop morphing into Lisa Simpson so much. It's making me misinterpret her dialog.

None of the major or halfway-major Simpsons characters has always been in character (even disregarding Halloween episodes), but I hear the general complaint more and more: they've become empty vessels for soulless humor.

I think people just have a prejudice against the soulless.

YES. The show started doing that around season 14, and I doubt it'll get any better.

Anyways, nice guest strip.

probably because the writers want to compete with family guy as number one older cartoon.

I'm sensing that Millie is channeling the thoughts of DCS here, especially the lisa simpson part <_<

DCS should've ended the comic a year or two ago.

She's saying that it's bad when a writer that doesn't understand a character intimately goes and makes shallow storylines for the character. I agree.

Of course, the implied funny bit here is that TKD is going now and making a storyline for Millie, even though there hasn't been even a mention in the past if Millie watches the Simpsons or not.

Is it me or does Ozy's hat look askew in the third panel?

Isn't the fact that it's Bocaj doing the talking good enough though?

The Simpsons has been trying more and more lately to be Family Guy. The irony is that Family Guy is actually entertaining. (Even though they, in turn, are trying to be Robot Chicken.) About the time Homer says "That's even worse than the time..." and goes into a stupid flashback involving a celebrity, I'm tuning out for keeps.
