Somehow seeing the title of this comic, I knew there was gonna be something with Ozy's hat.

And they did have really cool Hats beack then!

I still wonder though... is Ozy really getting taller? Just look at the last panel. They're obviously at the same distance but Millie is still looking up to Ozy!

Heh. On Comics Curmudgeon, they've taken a strong interest in a recent "Apartment 3-G" strip in which Margo has Googled the man she's about to date but still has one question unanswered: "Is he a hat man?" She dons a fairly anachronistic hat as she wonders aloud. CC is now selling hats that say "Hat Man."

Personally, I think that's a rather odd fixation on CC's part, but at least it's given me a new perspective on Millie.

I just tried to conceptualize what would have happened in the O&M universe if Ozy had never worn that hat and my mind imploded from the attempt.

There wouldn't have been an O&M universe. Truly, Ozy wearing his hat is one of those things that needed to happen, like the Easter Bunny dying for our chocolates.
