I like the new strip design, the comic is easier to read. I've been reading O&M now for about 4 years, and have always enjoyed it. Ques: any new books coming out soon??

I think he means the new strip format, not the site layout...

I definatly agree about the new strip design being an improvement.

Yeah.
The all-white page (you know what I mean) was a bit on the stark side.

Here's a disturbing thought: How are these strips going to get in book format now that they're such a radically different shape? Realistically Simpson could switch to the "comic book" size Lulu offers and print them one-to-a-page, but we've still got a few months' worth of wide format strips left to be published. (Plus any way you slice it we'd be getting radically fewer comics per dollar.)

Who said he'd charge as much for a book with less content? No-one, that's who.

Hmm, good thought there - if there's going to be the same amount of strips a year in this format, as there were in the 3-panel format...
I guess either larger books, or 2x books a year?
Actually, one comic a page I think could be interesting, if they were a decent size - larger size would bring out more detail, anyway. I'm not sure if it would be possible to fit two of these larger-format size strips to a single page.

Well, Lulu's base price is the same for all sizes, so he'd still have to charge more per strip than he does now to keep his profits per strip the same.
