Don't panic, but it appears that Ozy and Millie are SHRINKING. I'm sure you've noticed:

True! True! But they are hand-drawn sketches, so there is room for error.

When I was sketching Millie for the "Dragon-fox" skit I was trying to understand why some illustrations had her hair over her eyes, and others had long bright eyes without the hair in the way. Her whole face is shorter in the recent strips.

Hmmm....

Drawing them in the right size and proportion is hard especially in that angle.

DCS made the change from the latter to the former two years ago, I seem to recall... (It seems I was one of the first people to notice...)

Well, in the early years they were even shorter than that though.

I don't mind the shrinkage. People used to complain how emaciated Ozy was; it's not so bad once he's shortened.

They didn't get shorter. You guys got taller.

No, because that would take forever and then I'd have to re-buy all the books.

Yeah, I've been noticing the shrinking too.
