Ah, Classic bullying strips, always good. And Jermey seemed much smaller back then.
And yeah, I agree with DC's Comentary, "If you Ignore Bullies, they won't bully you."
Is complete Bull Sh**, One of two things happen, Either you succumb to the bullying because you have trouble ignoring it. (ike I did when a kid kept calling me Gaylord) or They still bully you even with no reaction.

Or you beat the crap out of them and get sent to jail, giving everyone else a break while the bullies are in the hospital.

All the bullies at my last school cussed a lot. Everytime they were told to watch their language, they'd say, "Man, you're not my father!" or "(bleep) you! We have freedom of speech!"
At work, i still have that problem with one guy. But he's not a bully. He cusses a lot because he has Tourette's.

...n*99a.
Hate that word, and there's no escapeing it. At my school a teacher getting beat up is common. I want a transfer, but I don't have the money.
As for bullying, it's true. The only honest way I've found to deal with them, is to play along. My last name is Bean. This was for some reason found hillarious. Over my years of school untill 8th grade, any time I got upset, I slamed my head on a wall, nearly gave myself a cuncussion. Now I've found that if I play along, just laugh at myself, then it's not as hard. Just pretending you're someone else.

I've always kind of missed the old character designs. Nothing against the current ones, they're great. They were so cute back then though.
I'm not going to get into the bully discussion, I'll be here for hours.

I Wonder what actually goes through the head of bullies?
And Im guessing Tabris was a target to extreme Bullying.

I did know one bully of sorts who seemed to lose interest with diminishing returns. He wouldn't hurt me or dis me, but he liked to come at me suddenly in the hall saying, "Hey [my real name]!" When I recoiled in surprise, he'd laugh and walk away. When I developed my shock absorption, he immediately sensed it and said, "What's up, man?", holding out a hand to low-five. After one or two more tries, the phase was over.
Now as for pain-inducing bullies, well, it's not so easy to avoid reacting one way or another. They shove, you move. You have to become a brick wall.

I only had one real problem with a bully which ended with me being punched in the face. Ah, middle school! What magical days.
After that I was left alone probably because a.) I kept to myself OR more likely b.) because I look like the stereotypical disturbed teenager whos only an inch from snapping.

Quality work on the book.
I've never really had any trouble with bullies, going to a tiny private school. Of course there was some bad-natured aggression, but since last November, the whole school has been pretty united. Also, I go to one of the few schools in the world where I don't get tortured for being Jewish. 90% of us (real statistic) are Jewish.

Not really extreme, but enough during middle school to permenently shape my outlook on certain aspects of the human race.
But they failed either way, since I'm happy with who I am and what I look like. If someone like those people who used to make fun of me think it's weird, I really don't give a crap.
The funny thing was that those who made fun of me in middle school actually seemed to respect me in high school.

Here's a funny thing:
Remember how I said that someone called me gay-Lord? Guess what? He was infact gay, and was I think a young rapist. I eventually got a resytraining order against him.
But this High School ROCKS!
They have the strictist NO-BULLYING policy and it is sweet. And for those of you whoi have heard of Freshman Beatdown day, I go to probly one of 5 High schools in all of US whio don't have that!
