I remember it too, but it's not a cameo since he doesn't appear in a strip, it's fan art. Also I'm not sure if GCP is meant to be canon.

It's a one-shot appearance, okay? It's not "fanart", since DCS himself did it.

I was under the impression that it had to be in the strip itself and drawn by that strip's artist to be considered an appearance/cameo. The GCP section has had many other artists draw the Gene Catlow characters or, in this case, jokes based on the strip. So in a way it is a place to display the fanart Albert Temple gets.
